The JBL Live Beam 3 packs great value for its price and is quite a rounded package. The price ducks under 14,000 rupees at the time of writing this article. We used it for a few days and in various use cases. Here are all the things that we liked about it and those we feel could be improved!
JBL Live Beam 3 Pros And Cons
Pros: What We Liked About It
Convenient Access: The 1.45-inch screen on the case provides quick access to settings and controls, allowing users to manage playback without reaching out for their phones. The charging case also allows you to turn on active noise cancellation (ANC), ambient sound mode, spatial sound mode, set equalizer, and more.
Exceptional Audio Quality: Featuring Harman tuning and LDAC support, the LIVE Beam 3 delivers outstanding audio quality, ensuring that the highs, lows, and mid ranges are crisp and crystal clear to the listener.
Impressive Noise Cancellation: The active noise cancellation (ANC) feature effectively blocks out external sounds. Additionally, the Ambient Aware mode enhances environmental awareness by amplifying surrounding noises when needed. You can customize the desired level of the ANC too!
Cons: What We Did Not Like About It
Bulky Case Design: The case has become a little bit more cumbersome due to the incorporated display while the ease of use due to the integrated display outruns this bulkiness.
Display Refinement Needed: Users may experience slight lag when swiping or tapping, and some touch points feel too tiny. Additionally, while receiving a call, the display does not show caller names, the user receives only notifications for incoming calls. And for music tracks, the album name, track, and artist titles, are not visible on the main screen, which may cause some inconvenience.
